The GVI (Type 1) Efficiency Medal to J G Peake, 3rd Field Ambulance, NZ Medical Corps.

This medal is unresearched. Peake was awarded the Efficiency Medal per NZ Army Order 1938/221. It is possible Peake was John George Peake, who died in a Dunedin railway yard accident on 7th May 1958, but this has not been confirmed.

Medal is correctly engraved for the period  PTE. J. G. PEAKE, 3RD FLD. AMB.
